London based artist SHANICE PALMER’s work is driven by positive impact, through empowering unapologetically. Defining her works as ‘rebelwear’ each collection takes on a new perspective of what it means to be royal in a rebellious nature. Inspired by the worlds of adornment and devotion she commits to redefining what craftsmanship looks like in the future world. She graduated from London College of Fashion, presented her AW18 collection Sanktifaied at Old Spitalfields Market in June 2017 and was awarded as one of the 10, “one to watch” designers by Dezeen and has presented at the Victoria & Albert Museum, Royal College of Art and the Design Museum. Her work has been featured in various international publications including the Evening Standard, Dazed & Dezeen. Shanice has a professional career where her commitment to design is seen in the worlds of Music, Fashion and Art.
 
As a graduate of Royal College of Art in MA Fashion, she presents her recent work A NEW NARRATIVE at Battersea Hangar Gallery in June 2023.  Shanice's current body of work serves as a testament to the power of storytelling and its potential to shape the future of the black experience, particularly concerning notions of luxury and identity. She firmly believes that by sharing honest expressions and creating spaces for unheard voices to be amplified, a collective consciousness can be tapped into, fostering a sense of community, healing, and empowerment.
